Timble Methodist Church was built in 1835
by the established church to be used as a Day School and Sunday School. In the
1870s, the Wesleyan Methodists started using the building for Sunday services
and, in 1895 the day school was moved to the Robinson Library in Timble. By
the 1930s the chapel had come fully under the Methodist Conference.
The simplicity of the building fits in well with the traditions of rural Methodist worship and fellowship.
Services are normally held on the first and third Sundays of the month at 10.30 am.
